May 16 2026

7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The Push Comedy Theater 763 Granby Street Norfolk, VA 23510, Price: $16.00
The Psychic: The All-Improvised Journey into the Unknown
Are you fearful of what is yet to come?

Do you have questions from your past that need answers?
Have you ever had a spirit cut you in line at the Harris Teeter?

These questions and many more will be answered by the great Marcius Lucius and his band of Lucius Lucians, in this all improvised comedy show. Marcius Lucius will take the audience on a spiritual journey from the past to the future through psychic readings, Raike, palm reading, rock healing, chakra adjustment, handfasting, crystal ball readings, tarot card shuffling, tantric loving making and direct communication with those who have passed on to the other dimension
Things Marcius Lucius of the Lucius Lucians has successfully predicted include
-The Great Tidewater earthquake of August 27th 2011
– Global Warming
– Flooding at the Hague in Norfolk
– The influx of out-of-towners to Virginia beach during the summer months
– Hurricanes
– Portsmouth tolls
– Peanuts in Suffolk
– That people who attend TCC can from there go anywhere
– The mid-aught fires of the Great Dismal Swamp
-Construction on 64
-Gerbils
Marcius Lucius has not attended the Edgar Kasey School, The School of Fuller Massage nor any other reputable institute of higher learning. He received his powers directly from Lord Jofur the Norse god of Thunder one morning while eating a bagel on the Elizabeth River Ferry.
See you at the show (He has already predicted that you are coming)!

The Unusual Suspects: A Wild Murder Mystery

May 9 2026

7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
The Push Comedy Theater 763 Granby Street Norfolk, VA 23510, Price: $16.00

Everyone in the room is a suspect in this wild murder mystery in Norfolk… EVEN YOU! The Unusual Suspects is a completely made-up murder mystery. Detective Brad McMurran walks you through the suspects… all pulled from the audience. No matter what twists the suspects throw at our great detective, he’s following the fun right to the very end. Watch in amazement as Brad pieces the puzzle back together, and leaves everyone doubled over with laughter. The show is completely improvised, so who knows what will happen next?

Each month, Brad plays a different detective inspired by the great sleuths of fiction. If you love mysteries, whodunnits, and good plot loop-hole, The Unusual Suspects is for you. Can you solve the murder before our crack investigator?

The Unusual Suspects is the brainchild of Brad McMurran (co-writer of Cuff Me: The 50 Shades of Grey Musical Parody, and co-owner of The Push Comedy Theater). The show regularly sells out at the Push Comedy Theater. It has been performed at parties, festivals, and corporate events. It was performed monthly at the South Point Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Do you want to learn more about the Elizabeth River Project and its vision for the future?

Join the Elizabeth River Project for a tour of our globally significant resilience model, the Ryan Resilience Lab. This state-of-the-art building showcases how we can protect both the ecosystem and humans as sea levels rise, incorporating replicable, environmentally sustainable design and construction.

  • Continuous rain gardens that filter stormwater runoff
  • Solar panels and batteries that aim for net-zero energy consumption
  • Floating entry pavilion that rises and falls with the tide
  • Living shoreline of restored wetlands, oysters, and native plants
  • River Room that hosts workshops, events, and exhibits
  • Toilets that flush with 100% harvested rainwater

The Ryan Resilience Lab is also the key anchor for the Eco-District, a collaborative effort to transform the northern part of Norfolk’s Colley Avenue near Knitting Mill Creek into an innovation corridor that fosters economic development, social equity, and environmental stewardship.

During the tour, you will get to see the inside and outside of the building, learn about its features and functions, and hear from our staff and volunteers about the organization’s work and goals.

The tours are free and open to the public, but space is limited and pre-registration is appreciated. Donations are always appreciated to support a healthy Elizabeth River. We look forward to seeing you soon!

If you cannot join us on our regular tour dates and times, or if you would like to arrange a special tour for your group, please reach out to Victoria Dunch at vdunch@elizabethriver.org.
