November 13 2025

7:00 p.m
Attucks Theatre 1010 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23510 Price: FREE with RSVP

Free and open to the public, but registration is required. Fused with rhythms of jazz and blues, Soul of Langston sketches the life of American playwright, poet, and civil rights activist Langston Hughes. As portrayed by actor Daron P. Stewart, Langston reflects on some of his literary accomplishments—from being discovered as a “busboy poet” thriving in the Harlem Renaissance to becoming one of America’s most read and quoted poets. Soul of Langston is an inspiring story of resilience and persistence that dares anyone to dream big! Arts at the Attucks is made possible by Norfolk Arts, the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts Polyphonic Culture Arts Equity Grant
