Enjoy pawsitively spooky 👻 fun this Barktober with your favorite pup-kins 🐶 🎃 at Howl-o-ween: Dog Day at the Zoo! 🐾 Dog lovers and their well-behaved canine companions are invited to have a ball while exploring the Zoo together. Pups will enjoy new sights, smells, and sounds while playing an important role in enriching the lives of the Zoo’s animals. Guests are encouraged to dress their beasts in their most enchanting costumes and compete in our dog costume contest for a chance to win some pawsome prizes!
To ensure that this event is safe for everyone, your fur babies MUST be well-trained and vaccinated. Dogs behaving in an unruly or aggressive manner (i.e. excessive barking, growling, lunging, biting, etc.) will be required to leave without a refund.

Explore the World of Reptiles after dark, enjoy mystery pop-up encounters with animal ambassadors, and then shake your boo-ty at a DJ dance party 👻. Guests can test their skills with free laser tag, peek into the future with free tarot card readings, and show off their best costumes for a chance to win fabulous prizes 🧛. With seasonal drinks, creepy-cool creatures, and plenty of thrills, it’s the spookiest time of the fear 😱! Costumes are encouraged, and this event is for ages 21+ only.

Join Anja as we combine yoga philosophy with crafting + fun on and off the mat As a former home ec + arts and crafts teacher && published author Anja will show you different ways to approach consumption. In this workshop you will cover an intro to the 8 limbs of yoga including the physical practice (asana) + breath work (pranayama) && meditation (dhyana). You will also learn how the ethical principals of yoga can impact your consumptions of goods. These ethical guidelines (aka Yamas and Niyamas) are some “rules”, that can be easily adapted and applied to the daily life. In this workshop Anja will show you how you can use the yogi moral compass regarding all things sustainability. Anja is a believer, that buying things new can often be avoided and that making things from scratch builds awareness, enhances creativity is a freaking ton of fun! This is why you will get crafty in the practical part of the workshop, making your own eye pillow using the sewing machine. You never sat behind a sewing machine before? No problem – if you can drive a car you can master sewing with a machine! The workshop will end with a relaxing restorative practice, where you will you use your new eye pillow for a deeper and more intense sensation.
