We are taking yoga off the mat and over to brunch! This is simply a “hangout” after class! Join us in studio for a 10A flow && then take the fun off the mat and to a tasty spot near by. This is just a way to RSVP so we can plan ahead and arrange spacing as needed. We hope to mingle with you “yogi style” real soon!

Remember how much fun it was decorating your eighth grade binders with all of the things you loved? Gather up your old magazines and half-empty glue sticks and join Alli at the studio for some off the mat community! Kick of the spring season with some crafty fun! We will take the yogi mind off the mat and right to the crafting in the lotus room. Then you can take your board home and put in a spot you’ll see it every day as a reminder of your plans for the future! Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring anything else you might like to get creative with! Cancellation policy :: We are able to honor a full refund with 48 hours notice.

Staten Island native Sal Vulcano is best known for creating and starring in truTV’s long-running hit “Impractical Jokers,” and for “The Misery Index” on TBS. In addition to performing as part of The Tenderloins Comedy Troupe to sold-out arenas, Sal founded the No Presh Network in 2020, hosting “Hey Babe!” and “Taste Buds” podcasts. Sal’s debut solo comedy special ‘Terrified’ was released in May 2024 on YouTube.

Arts at the Attucks Trio Jazz

HR Jazz presents “Trio Jazz” Aaron Goldberg, Nat Reeves and Jae Sinnett

Goldberg has collaborated with numerous jazz musicians over the years, including Joshua Redman, Wynton Marsalis, Charles Lloyd, Gregory Tardy, Betty Carter, and more. In 1998, he formed the Aaron Goldberg Trio and released their debut album in 1999. In 2006, “OAM’s Blues” from his Worlds album was included as sample music in the Windows Vista operating system. Windows Vista sold over 88 million copies.

For over 40 years, Nat Reeves has been one of the top bassists in jazz. His supportive and stimulating playing has uplifted a countless number of sessions and recording dates (most notably with the great altoists Jackie McLean and Kenny Garrett). He has led his own CDs State of Emergency and Blue Ridge. Both as a performer and an educator, he has made a strong impact on the jazz world.

Jae Sinnett has been involved in jazz as a musician/drummer, jazz educator, clinician, and jazz radio host/producer for the Sinnett in Session jazz radio show on WHRV FM 89.5 for almost 40 years. He has produced numerous jazz concerts and events throughout Hampton Roads featuring world-class artists and jazz educators. He is the President of Hampton Roads Jazz, Inc. which aims to foster artful creativity, aesthetic and practice-based learning, cultural awareness, and community engagement through inclusive and diverse educational programs dedicated to enriching the lives of students and professionals of all generations, backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders.

Arts at the Attucks is made possible by Norfolk Arts, the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts Polyphonic Culture Arts Equity Grant.

Are you looking to deepen your yoga practice? Become a yoga teacher? Extend your knowledge in your current profession? Then yoga teacher training might be for you! Please join us for our 11th 200HR Yoga Teacher Training Program. This course is Yoga Alliance certified and will be conducted in person with some virtual lecture.
All trainees get a unlimited membership to STL Yoga Co throughout the duration of the training.

Join Barb Morrison, physician assistant + yoga teacher, for some fun on + off the mat as we learn the benefits of meditation. A meditation practice positively affects our brain function, has been shown to slow the aging of the brain ,reduce inflammatory pathways and improve sleep quality. Our goal in this workshop is to identify techniques (including mindful breathing, meditation and restorative yoga) that help us become more resilient and move through our days with less anxiety. In this 2 hour journey you will improve your stress awareness in order to elicit the relaxation response more consistently and practice lifestyle goals – all while connecting with others to expand your sense of social engagement.
