2026 Virginia International Tattoo and Parade of Nations Combo Ticket

Virginia Arts Festival

During the Virginia International Tattoo weekend, the Norfolk NATO Festival is proud to present its annual Parade of Nations — the longest continuously running parade in Coastal Virginia and the only parade in the United States honoring NATO. The parade consists of more than 100 units with local and visiting high school bands, U.S. and international military bands and colorful floats representing each of the NATO member nations.

Group tour operators can reserve front parade seats along the parade route in conjunction with Virginia International TATTOO tickets. Group rates are available for groups of 10 and more. High School Celebration Cruises

Rover Field Trips for Students

The American Rover offers 1.5 and 2-hour educational cruises departing from Norfolk’s Waterside Marina. Hands-on activities enable students to become active participants in the learning adventure. On board, students will have the opportunity to set the sails, learn to tie basic knots, hear about the history of ships and sailing and take a turn at the helm while the captain discusses the tools they use to navigate.

Students can participate in the following activities:

  • Set the sails
  • Steer the ship
  • Learn how the captain navigates
  • Hear stories of mariner history and life
  • Tie sailor knots
  • Interact in group activities
  • Learn the history of ships and sailing

Student Party Cruise

Dance the night away while cruising the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River and Norfolk Harbor. This two-hour cruise includes music provided by a DJ. Meal options are available.

  • 50-person minimum Sunday-Thursday
